Breakfast was okay and the rooms are really clean, but an older lady had a passive‑aggressive attitude because I arrived at breakfast at 10:00 am and the service runs until 10:30 am; I finished in about 20 minutes, so I don’t see why that’s a problem.

We found the last hotel in the area during our pitstop after a car issue; we booked at the last minute. The environment is nice and clean, check‑in was quick and efficient, the business‑class room is comfortable with exceptional amenities, and overall the service was fast and efficient. We’ll drop by again when we’re in the area.

We were overall very satisfied with our stay at the Holiday Inn – the niu in Passau, especially the friendliness of the entire staff. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The hotel’s cleanliness and the modern, cozy atmosphere also impressed us; everything was well maintained and flawless. A highlight was when the staff noticed that I had a birthday and treated it with a warm, family‑like approach that truly touched us and made the day even more special—something you don’t see everywhere. We booked one night before and one night after our river cruise. The only disappointment at both stays was the evening bar selection; several dishes and drinks from the menu were unavailable, and we often heard the response, “Das ist leider aus.” Eventually we even joked, “Ach, das ist jetzt auch aus?” When you want to relax in the bar and share a drink, a wider range of options would be preferable; we were left mainly with beer, Radler, and wine. Despite this minor limitation we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its excellent staff, cleanliness, and pleasant atmosphere.

We spent one night at this hotel and felt completely comfortable. Everything was very clean, the young team was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful, making a great start to the day. The only small drawback was that no food was available after 21 o’clock. Otherwise everything was fine! We definitely recommend the hotel. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

The hotel has good beds, a spacious bathroom with a nice shower, and the evening dining options were sufficient. Breakfast offered everything that is usual. However, housekeeping did not clean the room daily, the room was relatively small, and the window could not be opened, so fresh air couldn’t be let in individually.
