We had a wonderful stay at Dar Lalzohra. The Riad was beautiful and full of charm, but the amazing, welcoming staff truly made our stay special. The breakfast each morning was delicious and such a lovely way to start the day. We felt so at home and would happily return!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and access was easy. The breakfast was extremely good and we were served very well. The room was very beautiful and clean with air conditioning. There was direct access to the terrace from our room (a small room with two separate beds) that offered a view of the rooftops of the Rabat medina.

The location is very good and comfortable. The staff were not nice. When we arrived we didn’t like the room and the employee was a bit arrogant. We decided to leave and then he proposed us another one much better.

Everything about Dar Lalzohra was top class. On arrival, Salim at Reception warmly greeted me, immediately served me delicious mint tea and biscuits, a lovely opening gesture. He remained exceptionally trustworthy and helpful throughout my stay, as did his equally efficient colleague Fatima. My first and lasting impression of the dining area was one of complete awe at its grandeur and magnificent layout and design; I felt as if I had walked straight into the Palace of the King. Breakfast the next morning was a delicious feast, everything served by Salim, completely fresh and wholesome. My room was very, very impressive and equally fit for a King! Again, the layout and design were of the highest order and everything I could possibly need was supplied, right down to the impressive bathrobe emblazoned with the Dar Lalzohra logo. The shower unit was gigantic and worked a treat and the bed was the essence of size and comfort. I could wax lyrical forever about this beautiful accommodation. Suffice to say, in conclusion, it was easily the cream of the crop of all the places I stayed during my very enjoyable two weeks criss‑crossing Morocco. An early minor issue in the room was brought to the attention of Management, who promptly acted on it, and it was immediately resolved to my complete satisfaction. Efficiency of the highest order.

This place is exceptional. We spent an amazing week there, in a magnificent room, with service worthy of the best hotels. The beauty of the riad, its calm despite being in the heart of the Medina, its ideal location for visiting Rabat, and especially the staff’s attentiveness make it a perfect spot for your vacation. The breakfast is very generous, different every day, allowing you to try many Moroccan specialties, and everything is delicious! A big thank you to Selim, and to all the people who work in the Riyad who made our week so beautiful. Go without hesitation!
