The spot near the yacht harbor is great, but the address only lists the postal code and Opatija, so copying it leads you nowhere. The apartment sits on the main street with no parking, turning luggage unloading into a hassle and causing a lot of complaints; you’ll need to find a parking garage. The nearest one is about 10 minutes away and costs 96 € for two days—pure gouging! The room is tiny, and the bathroom constantly smells like sewage. It’s tolerable for a day or two, but not for a longer stay.

The host was friendly, the room was clean in a private house, and the location to the center is superb; the host even gave us tips for evening plans, which made the price feel justified. The only downside was the parking situation in Opatija—a disaster: the cheaper spots at 2 € per hour are far away, while the closer ones cost 85 € per day.

“Clean apartment, the value for money is kind of good not bad”

The room was spotless, the owner was friendly, and free parking is offered but you must book it in advance. The spot is great, only 350‑400 m to the beach, close to the city centre, restaurants, a supermarket, and the bus station. I only had trouble getting the address: the owner didn’t give me the location until the night of my travel, even though I’d been trying to find it on Google since the start of my planning. The property management finally sent me the location ten days before the trip, which was the only issue.
