The vibe was chilled, we felt like we had our own private beach and could cook in the kitchen. The staff were super friendly and gave great local tips. The spot was perfect for unwinding after arriving in Sri Lanka. The only downside was that we picked a non‑air‑con room, so it got hot at night – but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

We landed in the middle of the night after our flight and the host welcomed us warmly. The room was clean and quiet. The beach was right next door, so we could swim whenever we wanted.

Nothing special, but if you’re only staying in Negombo for a night, it works. The price is reasonable, the place is clean, and you can refill water. The beach is accessible. It’s not a social spot, so solo travelers hoping to meet people on their first night in Sri Lanka might prefer somewhere else. The bed was uncomfortable. It’s a 10‑minute walk to the restaurants; I had no trouble, but someone might feel uneasy walking back in the dark after dinner.

The beach access was great. The guy was very friendly and it was obvious he was a good person. It’s a bit far from what is usually considered Negombo. If you go, be prepared to walk a lot or arrange transport.
