The place is quiet and has all the kitchen tools you need, plus a beautiful view. It is very far from São Tomé city centre; the road is terrible and you travel 18 km on a dirt track.

The spot is amazing with a spectacular view. The house is very practical and the kitchen has every utensil for quick meals. 10/10! The host is super attentive.

The Chalé Mirante da Serra was a great escape. The whole place feels like a nature retreat—animals, birds, quiet nights under a starry sky and a campfire. Breakfast was tasty and the atmosphere is calm, perfect for a family break away from the city. The owners, a caring couple, were always attentive and made us feel welcome, and a trip to Pico do Gavião with Ronaldo’s simple caipirinha bar is a must.

Everything was spot on—great service, cozy rooms, and a lovely setting. The staff went above and beyond, making the stay feel effortless. I left feeling refreshed and ready to come back. No complaints, just pure satisfaction.

Breakfast was fresh and plenty, and the new furnishings made the spacious room feel comfortable. Félix and his wife were friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. The only downside is the location: the dirt road from São Tomé das Letras takes longer than the short distance suggests, so plan extra travel time. Still, if you want to unwind and connect with nature, Mirante da Serra is worth it.
