The location was quiet, the rooms were functional, and the people were friendly, but I missed a neck pillow that I hadn’t brought.

The vegan and gluten‑free breakfast, the spontaneous doggy bag option, and the communal fridge with a trusted cashier were great, though the youth hostel’s facilities felt a bit pricey.

It was quiet and different, clean, and the staff were very nice and helpful.

I spent four days there enjoying quiet, personal time in nature, and the monastery was perfect on weekdays. The room, bathroom and breakfast were all excellent, and the staff were very nice, courteous and attentive. The only downside was a small smoking area with two tables at the guest house; when it was windy the ash would sometimes land on the table tops, making it unpleasant to sit there. All the other areas, however, were beautiful and comfortable, and that’s where I spent most of my time.
