The hotel had great atmosphere with caring and attentive staff. I’m leaving with wonderful memories of the holiday and definitely want to return! Nothing negative, everything was superb.

We found the hotel very disappointing and completely overpriced for what it was. After reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews we booked Cartez, and honestly, they were extremely misleading. The hotel is tiny, dated, and generally looks worn and tired. From the common areas to the room, everything appears to have seen better days. Our room was extremely small, and the overall condition simply did not match the price we paid. There’s a big gap between a small, charming boutique hotel and a small, worn‑out hotel charging prices that imply a much higher level of quality. The location is convenient, but that alone doesn’t justify the price. We left feeling that the price‑to‑quality ratio was completely unreasonable. If you’re considering this hotel, I’d strongly recommend looking at the photos carefully and managing your expectations. Based on the reviews we expected something modern, comfortable, and well maintained, but that was not our experience at all. For the price we paid, there are much better options in Yerevan.

Everything was spotlessly clean and well taken care of. The room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. Big thanks to everyone on the team! The stay was flawless, with impeccable cleanliness and truly welcoming, professional staff—excellent, we’ll definitely come back!

Nice staff. The location right in the city centre is great. The place is clean and the renovation feels fresh enough. Air‑conditioners are in every room, big TVs, a kettle, bottled water, and toothbrushes are all updated regularly. The double room is really tiny—there’s barely any space for a suitcase. I think a slightly smaller bed than a king‑size would have made a difference. The triple room had no such issues; there was plenty of room.
