I recently had the misfortune of staying at a hotel that fell far short of my expectations. Despite booking two suites with queen beds two months in advance, we were told that our reservation couldn't be honored due to overbooking. We were given one bed and a sofa in each room, which was far from comfortable for our group. To make matters worse, the room itself wasn't clean, and the hallways were hot and smelled terrible.
