I stayed there on 3 August and when I arrived I was told that children were not allowed. Three weeks later I saw a snap from an influencer named Morten posting on his story that he had his son at the well. This clear discrimination explains the low rating.

The overall look of the place, the staff, the food and the rooms were all very comfortable and pleasing.

The staff were great, the service was good, the place was really clean, the breakfast excellent and the wellness area was a highlight. Unfortunately we were surprised to find out that Tuesdays are textile sauna days, a detail that was not disclosed.

The hotel is modern and nice, the staff are helpful, we had some issues with the AC and the lockbox but they were fixed when we mentioned them. The tasting menu at the restaurant in the evening was superb and the breakfast was very good. However, there were many extra fees: parking cost 465:- for one night (sent home later and no alternatives were available even though the hotel is next to a forest), you had to buy the hotel’s own swimwear if you didn’t want to swim naked with everyone, and you needed to buy water bottles to have something to drink inside the spa area. Regarding the spa, it was a questionable experience to mix naked swimmers with us who had to pay for swimwear. It’s good to be prepared for the fact that when you sit in a small bubble pool, there are heavily overweight naked people who will press down on you. We weren’t fully mentally ready for this, which somewhat diminished the experience.
