Landgoed De Holtweijde, located in Lattrop, offers luxurious suites amidst picturesque countryside. The hotel features high-speed electric chargers, a renovated Health & Wellness Center with the Netherlands' top hotel pool, sauna, and spa. Guests enjoy Bib Gourmand restaurant 't Spieck with French cuisine, and excellent conference facilities. Walking and cycling trails abound, with Ootmarsum 10 minutes and Hengelo 30 minutes away.

The accommodation is beautiful and cozy, and the junior suite is spacious; the large pool with wellness and sauna is impressive. The staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast is delicious and very generous. The only downside was that the sliding door was left open and the window couldn’t be opened.

Breakfast was excellent, dinner was also well prepared, and the staff were very attentive. The bathrooms in the suite felt very bare, too white and not atmospheric, and they were not connected to the suite room. The view from the balcony over the surrounding greenery was also not very well maintained.

As always, the chalet was cozy, offering space and quiet for us and the dog. The stylish décor and excellent heating were important, especially with night temperatures of 14 °C. The park, the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast), the large swimming pool, the sauna, and the lovely surroundings including the nearby small towns were all great. The Bluetooth speaker system in all chalets was removed without replacement – that’s unacceptable! The ability to play personal music had already been available in cheaper houses for a long time, and after many visits we had expected this, so we didn’t bring our own equipment. The TV also lacked Bluetooth, so we were sound‑less for a week. This should be upgraded soon.

The estate is wonderfully luxurious and spacious, with plenty of peace, friendly staff, a nice pool, and a good restaurant. The price level is clearly in the higher segment.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was superb! The atmosphere is calm and pleasant in a beautiful setting. The mattresses were very soft and there were no bathrobes in the room.
