I had to pay 110 euros for a night in what felt like the hell of Mordor, and the car nearly exploded on the way because the place smelled like hippies. If I had paid much less, I would have kept quiet, but after shelling out that nonsense I had to wash the microwave just to make a calm cup of coffee—talk about a pain.

The house is huge and sits right in the middle of the mountain, where you can hear the birds and feel completely relaxed surrounded by nature; the Wi‑Fi and heating were very appreciated. Getting there was a real hassle because we got lost at first and then it was a mess to find the spot, which is the downside of being in the heart of the woods.

The exterior and the quietness of the area made it perfect for hiking. The house itself, especially the bathrooms, was dirty, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the rooms had dampness. There was no lighter for the gas stove, and the manager said there was a nearby supermarket where you could buy one.
