The staff really raise the bar for competition, and the cleanliness makes up for the bland room décor. The bathroom is modernly fitted. The metro’s closeness is a major advantage; even though the location is on the outskirts, it’s superbly connected to every part of Rome. A minor annoyance is the lack of any evening TV lighting – you’re left with either darkness or harsh light that’s more suited for cleaning than relaxing. In the same vein, the bathroom could use softer lighting so nighttime visits don’t end in temporary blindness.

The pre-arrival contact with the manager, the short video with the directions, and the daily texts asking if we needed anything were all great. When we asked for extra pillows, it was no problem at all. The evening before departure, the key handover was well organized. All of this together builds trust in where you’re staying and that everything’s sorted.
