A low‑profile spot in an old, original building with a wonderfully cozy courtyard. The Palatine cuisine is solid, the wine list is decent, and the staff are very nice and competent. Rooms aren't huge but they’re adequate. Overall a very nice stay. The missing view from the windows – even though it was explicitly advertised – was disappointing.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was sufficient. The bathroom was very small, offered no storage, and the sink was extremely tiny. There were no trash cans in the room, and towels weren’t changed for three days.

Breakfast was simple but acceptable. The landscaped courtyard was lovely and everything was clean. The room was very small, the furnishings were outdated and mismatched – even in the bathroom. The bedding was in bright colors, the sheets were thin, and the pillow zippers weren’t even closed. There was a tiny window that couldn’t be opened because you could climb onto the balcony through it, and it was right next to my head! The price‑performance ratio didn’t match; the room cost 246 € for two nights with breakfast for two people, which was too expensive.
