Lovely location. All in all a bit of a disaster. I don’t think the yurt had been properly checked before we arrived. We had to constantly ring the owners and chase for things and were made to feel like we were a nuisance for doing so. (The young girl who looked after us was lovely, her boss needs some training in customer service). Wet cushions on the outside seats. No towels or bedding for the kids. Half a roll of loo roll! A broken coffee machine, no kettle ☹️. Dirty crockery and not enough cutlery for the 4 of us. We were also surprised to find dirty underwear in the bedside table 🤢. They wouldn’t give us robes for the kids so good thing we brought extra towels. It’s also worth noting you need to pay extra to have the tub lit on arrival (to be fair it was still warm enough to get in) There was a small amount of firewood provided but not enough for the tub and fire. Charcoal is available to buy. In summary, luxury prices but in no way a luxury experience

The yurt and the entire site are gorgeous. We loved escaping the hustle and bustle and reconnecting with nature. Nothing to complain about.

Loved the location, loved the yurt and the hot tub and the surroundings. Honestly hats off to the team for making something like this available. Loved the lack of Internet :) 👍. We arrived half hour early, so expected to wait. The staff saw us waiting and didnt say hi or greet us in any way. When they were ready to check us in (15mins after the check in time) we felt a little deflated as we just got a "Are you checking in?". No "sorry for your wait" or even "hi how are you, did you find us ok?". On the second day we were out most of the day and when we came to use the hot tub it was murky with floating white bits which was disappointing as there was no net or any visible way to empty and refill so couldn't use

The location felt truly off‑grid, and the lake was both beautiful and tranquil. The yurt was charming, roomy, and fully equipped, with good lighting, a tidy BBQ spot, and a warm, clean bathroom. We stayed in March during a wet, cold period and found the evenings quite chilly; having glasses in the tent would have been a welcome addition since we only had mugs.
