I stayed one night while on an extended motorbike loop of Northern Thailand. The town is off the beaten path and felt slightly creepy to us, but not in a super negative way—just a little too quiet, I suppose. The room was nice, with a few little bugs around, but clean, had great AC (not really needed at night in the area) and a super hot shower. Staff were friendly. It was hard to find; the town is one street with a few similar properties and we had a hard time locating it, but once we did everything else was seamless. Not much to eat in town either; we drove up to Ban Rak Thai for dinner.

“Pleasant stay, works like a train's toilet”

It was a pleasant stay. Everything worked just well. The pork chops were very tasty and amazing and cost only 100 a meal. A pool table was nice and everything worked as one could expect. I have hazy memories of staying here, but this is not the place’s fault. It would be nice to know the place’s name in English. The restaurant served tasty pork chops but some coffee options would be nice.

“The best homestay in Pang Ung”

The location, the cleanliness, and the food are all perfect. This homestay is located in front of Pang Ung with only a 3‑minute walk!

The location is great, near the lake. The staff is nice. Separating the bathroom into wet and dry zones would be a better option.

The rooms were newly renovated, spacious and clean, and the hotel sits very close to a dam and a natural park that you can walk to. They offered free breakfast, even though the listing didn't say it was included. The price felt a bit high for what it was.
