A solid spot to stay in Palermo, right on a main street with restaurants and shops, and the staff were very friendly. Everything you need to feel comfortable is here, and it’s very close to the bus station and the Old City.

The room was nice and spacious, with air conditioning, a balcony, a small fridge, and plenty of storage. Walking to the city centre takes about 30 minutes, and the owners were very kind. I wish there had been a kettle in the tiny kitchen to make tea, coffee, or porridge, along with plates, bowls, and utensils. I booked a private bathroom, yet other guests used it too, even though they had their own in the room, which made waiting for the bathroom uncomfortable; this should be clearly communicated to future guests. During all four days of my stay there was no hot water in the shower, and the street remained noisy until late midnight, so earplugs are advisable.

The air‑conditioner on the wall leaked water, which needs to be fixed.

It’s a 30‑minute walk from the historic centre (which is handy because the buses are often late or miss their scheduled times). Conad supermarket is just below, convenient for supplies.
