Kanehide Kise Country Club, located in Nago, features two-bedroom cottages with private pools and terraces. The cottages offer hardwood floors, LCD TVs, and free wired internet. Guests enjoy golfing, public baths, sauna rooms, and Japanese, Chinese, and Western cuisine at the clubhouse. The hotel is 10 minutes from Kise Beach and 30 minutes from Nago's abandoned castle.

Having two separate bedrooms made it easy for two couples, and the bedroom, living room and bathroom were all spacious and spotless; despite its age the place is well maintained. The pool’s filtration motor ran all night on the first evening, creating enough noise that I couldn’t sleep, but the front desk fixed it first thing the next morning and it was fine afterward. The low walls give some privacy but also block the view, leaving a cramped feeling.

The room was clean, roomy and simply perfect, though the disposable slippers provided were a bit small.

The distance from the neighboring room made it feel like a private villa, each unit had its own pool so we could swim without watching others, there were two toilets and showers allowing two families to stay comfortably, and a BBQ area was available. However, we found many insects and dead bodies tucked into corners, a stray cat roamed around, and the chlorine smell from the pool was strong.
