The entire facility was clean, from the front desk to the restaurant, and the employees were warm and welcoming. Signage was confusing; the hotel name on the building’s exterior didn’t match “Winchester Hotel.”

Nice and accessible to the facilities I wanted! Staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was nice too

On check‑in, the staff were very polite. The room was fantastic and very quiet. The bar area was spacious with a good selection of drinks, and the hotel was clean and well presented. Unfortunately, the restaurant was disappointing; the evening meal didn’t meet our expectations. Breakfast on the first morning was good, but the restaurant layout made it very noisy. The second morning’s breakfast was very disappointing: we ordered poached smoked haddock with poached eggs from the a‑la‑carta menu, yet the fish was cold all the way through and raw in the middle. One of the two coffee machines wasn’t working correctly; when I pointed it out, a staff member tried to explain the difference between coffee options in a condescending manner.
