“Tuffo nel passato di un paese affascinante”

We stayed one night to explore Gravina and Matera. The historic building was fully restored and supplied with every service both in the rooms and in the common areas. It’s just a 5‑minute walk from the old town. There’s a private parking lot inside, a pool and a hanging garden where Giuseppe served us a tasty breakfast. After a long day of travel, the cool pool was refreshing. Thanks to Giuseppe for the great welcome in his family home. We strongly recommend staying here!

“Lovely property in a beautiful town.”

Gravina is a charming historic town off the usual tourist trail but packed with interest. This lovely property has belonged to the same family for generations. The gardens, where breakfast is served, feel like an oasis. The host is very friendly and speaks good English. The on‑site free car park is next to the property with a security gate. The rooms are lovely and breakfast is great. Nothing to fault. An excellent stay.

The host, a young, charming man who lives in this magnificent townhouse with some family members, gave us a wonderful welcome. The breakfast, served in the very pretty garden, was excellent.

Everything was great: central location, free parking next to the building, excellent breakfast, and especially a super spacious room.
