Located in Minas do Lousal, HOTEL LOUSAL Grandola offers an outdoor pool amidst Alentejo countryside. This 1940s historical building features preserved original details. Rooms overlook the village, equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, work desk, and safety deposit box. Some rooms have large terraces. The hotel serves lunch and dinner at its restaurant, and features a living room with fireplace, bar, and Garden Bar.

The breakfast was excellent, and Jéssica, the staff member, was very friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the pool was great with very comfortable loungers. The shower tap was hard to control, but I think it can be fixed easily. The pool area could be better maintained.

The rooms were spacious and featured large terraces. The setting was well cared for, the outdoor pool was nice, and the breakfast was very good. Nothing to criticize; everything was calm. The hotel is in Lousal, where the only tourist attraction is the Centro de Ciência Viva and the museological pole, both dedicated to the mines of Pirite that made the area famous. They’re worth visiting. Otherwise, if you’re looking for more activities, the options are nonexistent. But for a retreat, it’s very good.

The pool was pleasant and the breakfast was decent. The hotel needs renovation. The mattresses and pillows are in a terrible state, very worn and weak. For the price charged, they should offer better conditions.

Nothing good. The pool water was green, full of bird droppings, and there was no way to drink or eat anything. The place was unsafe, dirty, abandoned, and everything advertised on the website was a lie. The cleaning record was from 15 April 2025/6, but we arrived on 26 August… We didn’t leave because we were traveling by motorcycle and it was raining. We waited more than half an hour to hand over the key and tell the only person we saw the day before that we were leaving, and at 8:20 h we left because it was starting to rain. We couldn’t shower because of the garbage in the gel bottle (photo) and the gel inside smelled awful. My wife didn’t change clothes or lie down on the bed. The parking gate stayed open all night… In the garden there were large tents that people were in… TOTAL DISASTER AND 120,00 € per night.
