We arrived exhausted after a long trip and just wanted to sleep. The hotel advertised air conditioning, but they told us the new building didn’t have it, so why list it? The room was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, and the sheets were lumpy; we had to swap pillowcases from another room. The mattress felt like a wooden board. Breakfast, supposedly included, was awful: they brought us toast and jam from somewhere we didn’t know, and we had to eat at a random table in the corridor. After our repeated complaints, they gave us two bouquets on the departure day, but that didn’t erase the disappointment. Don’t go there, even under torture.
