The accommodation is simple but clean, a little far from the town’s tourist area. The almost‑rustic style fits the colonial town, and breakfast was simple and limited, nothing fancy. It’s too far for most people to walk, and oddly Uber drivers cancel because the distance is too short for them to drive. If you’re okay walking, it’s a nice 20‑minute walk and you’ll feel safe. If you expect more, this apartment will be fine for one or two days.

The place looks nice, but the pillows are noisy and the bed could be better; the air‑conditioner is very loud.

We were warmly welcomed by Thamires, the owner of the lodge, and the room was spotless with clean towels and everything tidy; the only suggestion is that the breakfast could offer more variety, otherwise everything was wonderful.

The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful; the room was a bit small, but we knew that beforehand.
