The spot is beautiful, centrally located within walking distance of the city center, and the owner Doris greets us every day with a smile; nothing else to add.

My stay at Pension Waldfrieden was perfect; the host greeted me warmly, shared hiking tips during the morning chat, and the breakfast was varied and lovingly presented, ranging from savory to sweet, with cereal and fruit, juice, and eggs on request; my room felt a bit small but was clean enough, and the balcony was huge; the pension is very quiet, the town center is quick to reach, and bus and train stops are nearby, which I used often for free thanks to my MeineCardPlus, as well as cable car and chairlift rides—a great thing; nothing else to mention.

It was super central, and we could walk everywhere; the rooms are simple but entirely sufficient and very clean; the housekeeper was friendly and responded immediately to comments and implemented them; we’ll return; the breakfast was a bit plain, with limited cold cuts, leaving room for improvement.

Great place! A nice spot to walk to the city center, and even for one person it’s a lovely stay.
