“Not for female solo travellers, and not in Trivandrum despite being advertised as so”

I had a harrowing experience at this hotel, which I initially thought was a different property I had booked. The price was reasonable, but the confusion led to a series of unsettling events. As a female solo traveler, I felt extremely uncomfortable with the male staff's constant intrusion into my personal space. He would knock on my door every hour, ask invasive questions, and even sit beside me when I was working outside.

I had a frustrating stay at this hotel, which was marred by an overwhelming presence of mosquitoes. The hotel's location was convenient, as the beach was relatively close by, and the surrounding area was lush with vegetation. However, the mosquitoes were a major issue, making it difficult for me to sleep. The room was spacious, but lacked any comfort, and the cleanliness was a concern.

I was really pleased with the hotel's location, being close to the sea, surrounded by lush greenery, and near a fantastic, affordable café and store. The atmosphere was peaceful and the hotel was spotless. I'd like to thank Changri, the hotel manager, for being incredibly helpful in addressing any issues we faced during our stay. Unfortunately, the room we booked was initially occupied, and we had to deal with the inconvenience of no hot water.

My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. The hotel's location was convenient, as the beach was relatively accessible from the hotel. However, the hotel was difficult to find, and the taxi dropped me off in a completely different area. When I arrived, exhausted and hot, I was not even offered a bottle of water. The room was spacious, but lacked any comfort, and was infested with mosquitoes. The cleanliness was also a concern, and the view from the balcony was limited.
