The place was beautiful and the people were wonderful; Stu even took me to the stream to check on the trout and we rode a 1954 classic Austin Healy. They had bought a heater for us, and the farm had a lot of pregnant cows ready to give birth any day.

The hosts were awesome, the room was nice, and it was close to the Marae where we were attending a tangi.

The setting had a relaxed feel with pleasant farm surroundings, and it was convenient for accessing the Raglan area.

The owners were friendly, the area was very quiet with happy farm dogs and chickens, but there was a pile of dust and fluff on the fridge floor and under/behind the couch, cobwebs on the inside of the windows, and water‑stained tiles on the bedroom ceiling and shower wall that needed to be glued back to the wall.

The hosts were friendly and the location was very quiet, but the extension to a barn with corrugated metal made it very warm and there was a smell of benzene.
