“Super angenehmer Aufenthalt! Gerne wieder”
I stayed in a bungalow where the furnishings were simple and clean. There was a private bathroom with hot water and a hammock outside the bungalow. The bar had a great sea view and sunset view. The staff were very helpful and always made me feel comfortable. I thought the value for money was excellent! Having a personal space so close to the sea – what more could you want?
“Établissement à l'ancienne”
Close to the beach, the restaurant and evening vibe are nice. The bar opens late in the morning for coffee; otherwise, there’s a 7‑Eleven on the road.
“A Bug's Paradise”
I was really looking forward to staying at this beachside spot, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. As soon as I arrived, I found a cockroach in my bed's mosquito net – not exactly the welcome I was expecting. I get that it's a natural environment, but I'm not a fan of bugs, and the place could've used a bit more cleaning. The ceiling was shedding black dust, and I'm not sure if the sheets had been changed recently. For 20 euros a night, I think I could've done better.
“Don’t stay here”
The beach is beautiful, and the yoga studio and teacher are fantastic, but you can’t access the space without paying for a class. We booked a bungalow thinking it would be similar to a private room at a hostel. The hostel and bungalows are completely separate and you can’t refill water from the hostel cooler or use the kitchen facilities. The staff were not kind; we were met with aggression multiple times. The bungalow is filthy. Bugs end up all over because the bathroom isn’t walled in and doesn’t have a proper door, so cockroaches and geckos swarm and make noise at night. The bedding is worn and we were given one nasty twin‑sized thin blanket for a queen‑sized bed. There is no housekeeping. We had to ask for a broom and clean sheets. This is not an eco resort. No garbage or recycling program. The staff would not make eye contact or say hello. It felt like we were a burden staying there. The property is full of garbage and junk.
“Beautiful Beach, But Some Issues with the Bungalow”
The owner was super friendly and welcoming, and the location right on the beach was stunning. The beach itself was perfect for swimming and relaxing, and the bar was great, especially in the afternoons and at sunset. The food at the restaurant was also really good. However, my bungalow was a bit of a letdown - it was old, the doors didn't close properly, and the shower had almost no water pressure. To make matters worse, it was right next to the trash and there were tons of mosquitoes.
