Peace and quiet are abundant here, ideal for anyone seeking that; the Wi‑Fi, however, is spotty in the chalet.

The setting feels pleasant and calm, making it the right place for those after peace and rest; the location is convenient for exploring both Alto and São Jorge, and the host is very kind and attentive. The only gripe is that the bathroom could use a barrier so water doesn’t spill while showering—nothing else to complain about.

The energy was wonderful, the bed comfortable, and the shower great. The place felt bucolic, cozy, and special. Sitting on the balcony with a wine and watching the stars was a memorable experience, and it’s also close to several waterfalls.

It was very good, so I’ll return. The cost‑benefit ratio was not ideal.
