Our room was comfortable and roomy, nicely heated, and offered a lovely view over the Baker River, while the bathroom felt big and got plenty of light. The only downside was that the restaurant only opened in the evening and served a single set menu, so there was no real choice. Also, the hotel didn't have any extra services beyond the basics.

The staff were truly first‑rate, always friendly and attentive, and the rooms lived up to the hype with stunning views and great design. I couldn't find anything to complain about – everything was just that good.

The setting is gorgeous – quiet, spacious, and right over a beautiful river, and the meals we had were tasty while the staff were genuinely helpful. It's also a short drive to Patagonia Park, which made the hiking trips easy. The only hitch was that the afternoon sun turned the room into a mini‑sauna and the cooling was a bit slow.

Our room looked straight out onto the river, the meals were top‑notch and the place felt roomy, plus breakfast with eggs and muesli was a nice start each morning. The staff were friendly, and the little pier by the water was a pleasant spot. On the flip side, the coffee machine left a lot to be desired and the front desk could have offered more detailed suggestions for things to do nearby.
