“Incredibly disappointed and frustrated”
The location was good, but the breakfast omelet and sausage tasted like they were microwaved and had no flavor; otherwise everything else was fine and the bed was comfortable. We had come from a camping trip, so everything was wet. We booked a washer/dryer and a hot tub for the 10‑hour drive, but both were broken. The elevator was also broken. As seniors with a CAA card and a $35.00 discount coupon, the desk said they couldn’t honor any of them because we booked online (lesson learned). The desk claimed we got a discount but gave no details on how or how much; we had called first to price the room and paid the same, so there was no discount.
“Good all around”
The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great. The elevator was out of service, so we had to use the stairs more than we would have liked.
“Agréable”
Très propre, personnel accueillant. Le fait que l’ascenseur n’était pas en fonction, car en panne
“Clean, comfortable and excellent breakfast!!”
The rooms were clean, roomy and modern, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection and tasty food. The elevator was broken, so we had to use the stairs from the 4th floor, but the exercise program was a nice bonus.
“I feel scammed and cheated.”
It was clean and comfortable and close to the highway, which mattered to me. When I booked, it said there was only one room available—a Executive King room at $269 plus $10.84 City Tax and $40.35 Other Tax. I was on the road, needed a room, and most nearby places were full, so I booked it for a total of $320.19 even though it was beyond my budget. I did it because I was worried I wouldn’t find another room after missing four at a nearby competitor. When I arrived, the staff told me it was their primo room and the nicest, but the elevator was down and I’d have to walk up and carry all my stuff to the fourth floor. They then offered a king room on the main floor that wasn’t as nice but let me switch. The upset part was that I was getting a lesser room but paying the exact same price, especially after the site claimed I was getting their last room, yet the hotel immediately offered another. It all felt dishonest and like a scam to overcharge for rooms. Front desk staff said they had “extra rooms set aside” but none were offered or available on the site.
