“My first visit to Incheon, South Korea”

My first visit to South Korea was smooth thanks to the Bluebird Hotel in Incheon; the Yeonsu‑gu location is fantastic, practically next to the Yeonsu metro station, which made city navigation easy even though I used Uber and KakaoT. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, featuring a huge TV with streaming services and cozy heated floors. Self‑check‑in was straightforward and the staff were very kind. It was a wonderful introduction to Korea, and I’d definitely stay again! The only downside was the limited vegetarian options in the nearby area.

The room and bathroom were spacious, but the room was full of dust, trash under the bed, the bathroom was not clean at all, and the place smelled bad.

The staff were friendly, though the code I received was incorrect for check‑in. The clerk at the desk helped me get the right one, even though he didn’t speak English; using my booking details and a translation app, he managed to check me in. I also checked in two hours early for a fee, which worked well. The bed was superb, something I’ve struggled with on other trips. The only thing I missed was coffee—the machine didn’t work, but otherwise there was nothing to complain about.

It was clean and good value for the price. The metro station was nearby, the TV was large, and the air‑conditioning worked well. For families with children, I would advise against staying here: the walls are paper‑thin, so you can hear neighbors terribly. Every night there were loud sighs and moans, giving the impression that women of loose morals were working there and attracting men. The endless groans were a nightmare and made it very uncomfortable for my spouse and me with our kids.
