The Hotel has been beautifully restored. As a renovation it is very successful. This was the biggest disappointment of my trip. In southern Spain it is not unusual for shops, bars and restaurants to be shut on Sunday and Monday. One of the reasons for booking this hotel was that it advertised both a bar and a restaurant. Both were shut. There was no water in the room. I asked if I could have a bottle of water but they were unable to provide this, suggesting instead that I go to the petrol station. This is not a hotel it is a museum that you can sleep in. Its 4 stars are entirely undeserved
