I stayed in a very nice flat in a nice location.

Although a little small, the room was very comfortable and clean. The location is great, close to nice walks along paths above the cliffs, and the sunsets are spectacular with occasional whale sightings. The fishpond a few meters from the unit attracted what seemed to be the entire population of frogs in Gainsbaai

The place was clean, but the extractor fan in the toilet didn’t work, which felt like false advertising. It looked like you were on the beach, yet it was actually quite far away. The website never mentioned that there were three rooms right next to each other, so there was no privacy and we could hear the neighbors. We had no zinc to wash our dishes, and the bed was hopelessly too small for two people.
