It was really a shame. The apartment was super clean and well equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. Everything was great except the terribly bad sound insulation in the room; we could hear everything. The first night we woke up at 6 am and the second at 7 am. Our neighbour had three children. I asked him to keep them down, but he did nothing.

A very nice place, the area is gorgeous and the hostess is very friendly; I always return to Bad Griesbach, in the Black Forest, with great pleasure.

We stayed in a tiny holiday flat that was fully equipped (finally sharp knives in the kitchen), with excellent access to all the nearby hiking trails and a train station right opposite the property. It seems perfect for families with one or two kids, and the host family was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely come back.

I was touched by the thoughtful gesture of having bread left at my door, which was a lovely welcome touch during my stay.
