Simply a place to relax. 👍👍👍👍
The view of the lake! The small bed in the room next to the bunk bed is really not suitable for two adults; we slept on the sofa. It’s for children! The kitchen door is loose, oven knobs are missing, the extractor hood is very dirty, the headphones are broken… There’s a lot of back‑log in maintenance and cleaning.
The location right by the Lauwersmeer, with ducks, geese, swans, birds, was dreamy. In the evening the outdoor area had a lot of spider activity, but in the interior no spiders were noticed.
“Traumhafter Urlaub mit ein paar Markeln”
The view was simply breathtaking. A good base for many trips like the zoo, boat trips, and beach days. Unfortunately there are things all over the grounds that are dangerous for children and dogs, e.g. boards with nails that also limit the comfort on the terrace. Moreover the access to the water isn’t fenced. This is shown in the pictures.
