The location is great, but the price of 110 euros per person for room and meals is too high; the meal alone costs 34 euros and is very mediocre—tourist trap, definitely avoid for business.

The place sits in a perfect spot, easy to locate and reach from Foum Zguid in an AWD based on the coordinates given, though a bit trickier to get to M'Hamid where we lost the trail a few times. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the surroundings quiet, and the view of the sand dunes was fantastic.

The spot is at the edge of the world in the middle of the desert, the best‑placed establishment far from everyone else amid the dunes, with equipment and a room decorated in a very tasteful, “One Thousand and One Nights” style. The dinner was a bit pricey and of very ordinary quality for Morocco.

The people are extremely friendly! The surroundings are gorgeous, right in the dunes, and the sunset in the middle of the endless sand dunes was gigantic! The desert glowed yellow and purple after heavy rain a few weeks ago. The cook is great! Ismael is a kind and competent host.

The camp sits in the dunes of Erg Chigiga—ideal for dune exploration. The staff were very welcoming and Abdul looked after us well, seeming to do everything. The room was very comfortable. We stayed two nights and, just like the first night, we caught the last few minutes of sunset. We would have been disappointed if we hadn’t had a second evening. The camp feels dated and lacks atmosphere; I expected more but you get what you pay for, though they had a lot of rain last month that destroyed some infrastructure. The food was just okay and I don’t think it was worth the expensive meal. Activities were minimal and the cost of the quad bikes for an hour was 800 dinari, which compared to other camps was very expensive and I felt a little scammed. All this doesn’t take away from the experience though—do your homework, other camps might be much better.
