I was disappointed enough to give it only 1 star. I went in hoping for a relaxing break, but ran into several issues from the moment I checked in. The room was not clean, and the door lock only worked in one spot, which made me uneasy about security—especially since it was just the two of us women. I asked for a different room, but the hotel couldn’t provide one even though no other guests were in the building that night. The facilities were also limited, so I felt the price didn’t match what I expected from a getaway. Cleanliness and basic safety, like reliable door locks, should be a priority for any accommodation. I hope the staff takes this feedback seriously so future guests won’t face the same problems.

“Adequate in a lovely location.”

The location was great, and the water activities were fun, plus they offered a free daily “ride out” on the water. However, the service was only mediocre when the manager wasn’t around. On our final day, breakfast was clearly not ready even though it was well past the scheduled opening time. We were lucky to have already decided to leave without it.

There were plenty of games to play and the breakfast was tasty. On the downside, you couldn’t take food out in the evenings, and the smoking area next to the room smelled bad.
