The service was excellent; our requests were handled quickly under Victor’s capable leadership. The food was fresh and delicious, and the a‑la‑carte breakfast was very good, making us feel at home away from home. The only issue was the extreme quiet—there were no guests, just one couple with children during our two‑day stay. Management might want to attract more guests to keep the place lively, as it’s a gem for those visiting Ngare Ndare forest.

The location was awesome and the breakfast was good; we were able to get our wishes granted and the staff were very friendly. We could have been better advised about excursions into the NgareNdare forest, and the management split every penny. They listed the payment in USD while I was shown KSH, and even after we paid several hundred USD they made a fuss over 1‑3 dollars.

After a 10km gravel road that isn’t suitable for regular cars, we only stayed because of renovations. The restaurant had nothing to offer, but the chef promised to bring something. Alcohol was strictly prohibited in this religious place. Nothing else to add.
