The hotel was clean and tidy, the shampoo I liked was available, and breakfast was delicious! The only issue was that the light suddenly went out in the mirror, which was a bit shocking because I was doing my makeup and it was inconvenient.

The room was spacious enough to relax and it came with a fridge and microwave, so there were no inconveniences. However, the satellite channels that should have been free didn’t work, perhaps because of the room’s condition, and I wish someone had mentioned that. The air‑conditioning performed poorly; even on maximum fan the room felt like a tropical night and sleeping was uncomfortable. I also missed the breakfast that was included because I didn’t realize I needed to specify “Japanese” or “Western” in advance; a reminder during the room briefing would have helped a forgetful guest like me. The lighting in the room was dim overall; brighter lights or a lamp would have been appreciated. I had read online that some rooms offered karaoke and sauna, so I was looking forward to those, but the room I got lacked any of those facilities, which was disappointing. It would be nice if guests could choose a room with the desired amenities, and I would definitely prefer a sauna‑equipped room next time.

The price was relatively low and the breakfast, while not included, was passable. In reality, the place turned out to be a love hotel, and the door was controlled by an auto‑lock, meaning I had to call the front desk every time I entered or left, which was very inconvenient and felt unsafe in case of fire; this should be clearly stated. The bed had a dip in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The air‑conditioning didn’t work well, leaving the whole room chilly. The toilet light kept turning off after a short while, which was problematic.

The facilities are a bit dated but they’re doing their best; having a sauna and an outdoor bath in the room was a huge plus and the bathtub was roomy. As always, I appreciated the tasty breakfast. On the downside, the climate control didn’t work and it got hot, and the middle of the mattress sagged, causing my body to shift toward the center. The air‑conditioning was ineffective in every room, so I’d love to see the HVAC system and the mattress upgraded. Other than that, everything was fine.

The retro décor, tasty breakfast and overall comfort made for a pleasant stay. The shower, however, was inconsistent—sometimes it got too hot, sometimes turned cold, and the water pressure was occasionally excessive.
