10/10 in every way: the staff were incredible, especially manager Julia who was always attentive and charming; the food was out of this world, the facilities spectacular with a beautiful pool, and the rooms were spacious and clean.

We were met with cheerful, helpful, and friendly staff, making it a great base for exploring Tangkoko. However, we only received one key, and when the door was locked from the outside it wouldn’t open from the inside, so I ended up locked inside the bungalow. It wasn’t convenient, but we laughed it off 😂

We had an amazing stay at Bobocha. Juli and her team were a delight and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We were welcomed with homemade lemon ice tea, a delicious breakfast, and an incredible dinner, which made our time there very relaxing. The rooms were wonderful and the pool stunning. A short walk to the village and beach offered a few lunch or afternoon drink spots; we visited the beach warung every day, which was great. Juli also arranged a day tour to Tomohon and several rainforest trips with the best guide in town. Nothing to complain about!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Bobocha Tangkoko Nature Resort and would gladly give it 10/10. The resort is brand new, beautifully designed, and exceptionally well maintained. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re visiting Tangkoko, this is a superb place to stay—quiet, comfortable, and offering a wonderful balance of relaxation and easy access to the surrounding nature. We’d definitely stay here again. Nothing at all fell short; everything exceeded our expectations.
