The guest house offered a clean, spacious room with a shared kitchen and bathroom, and the Belem neighbourhood is well‑situated near attractions and the trolley line to historic Lisbon. The on‑site staff were rude about our bikes, even though I had requested a secure locked storage (they refused to keep them in the room). The off‑site manager eventually allowed us to lock the bikes in the garage, which resolved the issue. The kitchen lacked dishwashing supplies, and a sign simply told us to wash our dishes.

The location is perfect for exploring the local area. The property is very cosy and clean, and the lady there was very polite.

Check‑in felt a bit odd; nobody was physically present, so I had to call the host and go through the process over the phone, which was manageable. The room was large and very comfortable. I did notice only one mirror in the bathroom, which made getting ready in the morning a bit inconvenient, but it’s an easy fix. Check‑out was also strange because I didn’t know where to hand the key; the staff member I finally located was pleasant and friendly, and I only had to wait about 5 minutes. Overall, a really good stay that I’d definitely repeat. The property is close to several good sites in Belém (within walking distance) and to lovely restaurants and bars. A mirror in the main room would have been helpful, and advance instructions for check‑in and check‑out would be useful.

The room has a very good location and very good conditions. The fact that the room has no air‑conditioning is a problem—the room gets full sun in the afternoon and becomes extremely hot, and the fan they installed in the room is not enough.
