Everything was perfect for our very short stay; I wish we had stayed longer. The communication was brilliant, the interior and exterior were beautiful, and the cleanliness was top tier. Our surprise night away for the child’s birthday was a hit, especially the hot tub; we couldn’t fault anything at all.

The setting was lovely and quiet, but the kitchen area was small.

The location was great, very peaceful, and the place was beautiful; I would definitely visit again. The only downside was that the place felt very private.

Hawthorn Lodge was absolutely perfect, exceeded expectations. Very spacious and tastefully furnished. Lots of lovely little extras, robes, slippers and chilled prosecco. Perfect for my Mum's 80th birthday getaway. And the hot tub was amazing. Special thank you to the staff on duty, who went above and beyond to rectify a problem with the TV so that we could watch England play in the world cup. Excellent customer service. Absolutely nothing it was perfect
