“Nice hotel”

Room was nice and clean. Over the weekend I couldn’t get a Bolt easily from the location – the nearest train station lacks a lift, so I couldn’t take the train with luggage.

Nice, tidy room. The breakfast was generous. The parking fee was a bit steep (€25,=), but that’s also true for nearby hotels.

The breakfast spread was solid, especially the option to whip up your own waffles. The dining area offers a pleasant view of a water body with some birds, including coots. Getting to the hotel from Hoofddorp train station is a breeze: from the platform you spot the hotel, head toward it, climb a few stairs, cross the road at the traffic lights, and if you’re lugging luggage, take the other way to the lifts and then back to the hotel. The bathroom door is a sliding one that turns into a wardrobe door when opened, but it slams loudly against the frame; after the first time you can avoid it, though it’s annoying when my travel companion is sleeping.

Natali was amazing! We were exhausted from travel and luggage, and she helped us with early check‑in and gave great recommendations. She was extremely cheerful to chat with, and we felt positive about everything at the property from then on. The whole stay was comfortable, peaceful, and clean. I called reception around 9 pm to confirm restaurant hours and menu; the man at reception blurted out that we were closed without checking the time or thinking, but we knew the restaurant was open until 10 pm, otherwise we would have just accepted his comment without question.
