The spot is great, but the place desperately needs a refresh. Breakfast is basically a hamper with ‘corner shop’ items, and the price of £219 for a single night feels steep; they sold a triple room as a double, and the double bed was too small.

The hotel sits right in the center, but the slanted wall in the room is a problem—if you’re tall you’ll bump your head often, and the bed clearly needs updating.

The location is excellent; the room is very nice, clean, and the bed is comfortable. Even though breakfast isn’t included, the room comes with a kettle, a small fridge with yogurt, jam, butter, and on the table there are brioche, biscuits, cereals, and everything else needed for breakfast. The lady at reception is very kind.
