I spent 31 May–1 June 2026 at The Core in Kohima (High School Junction) and found it a genuinely pleasant, memorable experience. The spot is perfectly positioned for city exploration yet still offers a quiet night’s rest. Rooms were tidy, snug, and fully equipped for comfort, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness from check‑in to check‑out really stood out. For anyone seeking a hassle‑free stay with great service and a convenient location in Kohima, The Core comes highly recommended, and I’ll definitely return on my next visit. The ambience itself—calm, understated charm with modern interiors, warm lighting, and a peaceful vibe—made it feel welcoming right away. Cleanliness was a clear plus: the room was fresh, the bathroom spotless, and it was evident the housekeeping team cares deeply about maintenance. Staff and accessibility were also highlights: polite, responsive, helpful without hovering, and check‑in was quick and smooth. Located in a prime spot, it’s easy to reach from main roads, close to markets and local spots, yet quiet enough to rest well. For a hotel that nails the basics—good vibes, cleanliness, warm service, and convenience—The Core is an excellent choice.

The hotel was useless, carved out of a shopping complex, full of noise, traffic, poor catering, and had no access way.
