The place is gorgeous and has plenty to explore. The bed felt a bit unstable, as if it might collapse, and it was noisy. The food prices are pretty steep.

The manager is the heart of the place, always on top of everything and coordinating every detail. Some staff members lack proactivity.

The meal areas, starting with breakfast, are stunning, located in the corridors or a large inner courtyard that surrounds the 10 rooms of the hotel. Breakfast was served beautifully and the staff was very flexible with our dietary needs. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the venue. There’s a lovely walk through the extensive food garden, a forested zone, and the coffee tree area. The site was quiet, but we met one of the owners, the staff, and some guests, which made for a very nice overall experience (we learned a lot about coffee and its processing). We arrived after dusk and struggled to locate the exact entrance; better signage, especially on the main road, the PanAmerican Highway, would help.
