The spot near Jemeluk Bay was superb for diving into the giant aquarium that the beach offers. The pool and accommodation facilities were perfect, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Dining also lived up to expectations. A great stay for exploring and enjoying Amed’s many attractions.

The dorms (max 4 people per room) were in a lovely wooden cottage. I loved the open bathroom layout, the cleanliness, the wooden doors, and the abundance of natural light. The common area was quiet, green, and the pool area was unique, designed for freediving classes.

The small, typical rooms were set in a well‑maintained green environment. The pool was magnificent. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing iced tea upon arrival. There’s a restaurant on site for lunch and drinks by the pool. The bedding was good. The attic room felt like sleeping in a loft; the beds were tucked under the roof and not insulated, so it got very hot despite the AC.

We managed to squeeze four adults into the room, though a few head bumps on the stairs made it tight. The upstairs was scorching hot, but the surrounding area felt like the Everglades and the spot was convenient. A spa right next door offered massages, and a reggae bar across the street played live music one night, so we joined in. Snorkeling was just a short walk across the road and through the reggae bar—great for a refreshing coconut afterward. The snorkeling spot was surprisingly lively for a township full of boats, black sand, and a stony beach. The pool was great, and there was plenty of space for yoga, whether in a class or solo practice, and the early‑morning coffee was good. In our view, there were better options and choices; the room felt too small for us, and it was too late once you knew that.
