“Locație mizerabilă”

The welcome was terrible and the room was a disaster; the receptionist acted very rude and seemed completely unfriendly, snapping at me when I asked for what the booking promised—no bathroom supplies (just a single used soap bar that others had already used), no towels, and linens that had been used by many guests before and couldn’t be changed. The tiny bathroom with a cramped toilet left me with only a hand‑sized towel for four days, and when I tried to check in four hours early they slapped me with a 300,000 dong charge even though the nightly rate was 350,000 dong. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not even my enemies, and the whole staff acted like a family protecting their own, threatening to kick us out when I insisted on receiving what was advertised.

“Very Good price, pleasant, close to train Street”

For the price, this place was great; it’s just a couple of minutes’ walk from Train Street, offers a private room with an ensuite bathroom and balcony, and the staff were excellent, even holding my luggage until the evening when I caught the night bus. I can’t really complain because the cost is so low—essentially the same as a bed in a shared dorm.

The location and price were the main draws for us, but unfortunately the room had a strong smell and was pretty noisy. Not the worst place we've ever stayed, but not great either.

“Too expensive for this very low budget option - only if really necessary”

The location is a major plus, right next to the train station. The hot water was a relief, and the room was relatively clean, which is more than I can say for some places. The landlady was helpful and friendly, but the duvet covers were a bit of a letdown - they smelled strongly of smoke and hadn't been washed. The whole house had a stale cigarette smell, and it's clear the owner smokes indoors.

We didn't end up staying here, which is a shame because the place looked okay. What happened was the local owner sent us a message saying they couldn't accommodate us, which was a bit of a bummer.
