The staff were friendly and even upgraded our room for free, the night market was just across the street, and the hotel offered great value, so I highly recommend it; the only downside was that the trash can wasn’t foot‑operated, which was a bit inconvenient.

The family running the hotel were helpful, ordering groceries for us and providing an adaptor so we could charge our phones. The website advertised a pool, but it turned out to be shared and was unavailable for the entire duration of our stay because of nearby construction.

The team was welcoming, the beach and beach club were only five minutes away, and there were nearby pools, cafés, shops and a night market, plus bike parking, a lounge with sofas for work, and cleaning every three days during my month‑long stay. However, a swarm of tiny flies seemed to breed inside the room, with many cocoons on the ceiling; they were more like small gnats and not a major issue. The shower water drained onto the floor near the toilet, leaving it wet, and toilet paper ran out during housekeeping, so I had to keep asking for a new roll.
