The log home was charming with beautiful art, the room offered a great view and we enjoyed a breakfast specially made for us, but the two single beds that were meant to be combined into a king were too close together, leaving little space.

The place is amazing and the owner, along with his lovely dog, runs it wonderfully—exactly the same great experience.

Great proprietor, wonderful log architecture, fabulous view of Kachmak bay and mountain backdrop. Fun and interesting conversations with fellow guests at breakfast table. Everybody seated around one table. 80s⁸I. No issues

The host is very friendly, attends to all needs, solves problems quickly, and keeps guests updated on tours, restaurants, history, and more; staying in the cottage is a pleasant experience.
