The staff were friendly and helpful, and they let me check in an hour early. The cleaning could use improvement, and the common area is underground, dim, and smells damp.

The location was handy for cycling around Jeju, and having a washing machine and dryer let us do a much‑needed wash. We arrived early and had to wait until 4 pm with others who were also checking in; they then packed up and went upstairs. We eventually connected to Wi‑Fi and received our room details by email. The room lacked hot water—just slightly warmer than cold. There was a phone number for help, but it only works for Korean nationals who can get a number and speak Korean.

The host was very kind and helpful, letting me stash my bag before check‑in and after check‑out. It’s the best spot if you’re tackling Trail 8, 9, 10, 11 or beyond, and the bus station is just a 7‑minute walk away. I loved my room, the bed and bedding, and there are convenience stores, supermarkets and many restaurants with delicious food within walking distance. The place is quiet near the beach, perfect for resting and chilling out, and there’s a big basement for group activities. The windows won’t open because of insects, but the host let me use the air‑con to circulate air and keep the room cool. The bathroom was a bit humid since it has no window, but the host said to keep the exhaust fan on, so it was okay.

The location is great and the bus is easy to access. While hiking the Jeju Olle, I was able to drop off my bag early in the morning so I could walk the trail without my big pack, which was wonderful. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom had nice shower amenities. The kitchen is in a cold basement and there aren’t enough hooks in the room; on a rainy day my two roommates used all the hooks. Privacy curtains and individual bed lights for the bunks would be nice.

It’s a quiet spot near Yongmeori Coast and Songbangsan Temple, just a few blocks from great restaurants and bus stops. Could not ask for more.
